Known as the Shark Tooth Capital of the World, Venice Beach offers divers the chance to hunt for ancient fossilized shark teeth just off the shore. After the dive, stick around for a laid-back community potluck—bring a dish, share stories, and connect with fellow diving enthusiasts. Event Schedule: 

• 8:00 AM: Arrive at Service Club Park
• 8:45 AM: Dive Briefing at Heroes Dive Center Banner
• 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Dive Time
• 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Clean-up and Potluck

What to Expect:

• Upon arrival, please check in and start assembling your dive equipment.
• If you do not have a dive buddy, we will work together to find one for you with the appropriate skill level.
• The dive briefing will be at 8:45 AM, followed by dive-specific briefings for those with in-water guides or those who show up a little later.

Please bring your favorite dish to share, ensuring it is suitable for beach weather. Think of items that can withstand the heat, such as salads, sandwiches, or fruit platters. Let’s make this potluck a culinary delight for everyone!
