SSI Open Water Instructor
At a young age Sarah knew that she wanted her office to be the sea. Born in Florida Sarah has always been attracted to the ocean and interested in marine science. In 2014 she solidified that interest when she attended the Oceanography Camp for Girls at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. From there, it was an easy choice to get SCUBA certified in the summer of 2015. Around the same time, Sarah wanted to pursue professional diving as an instructor which led her to SCUBAnauts International as a dive-pro. “SNI helped build my career…and I want to continue giving that opportunity to other nauts in the future.” But Sarah doesn’t stop there. In 2018 Sarah joined the Heroes Dive Center team and is an SSI Open Water Instructor and our Event Coordinator. Sarah is always excited to teach new divers and share her passion for the sport. “The best part of diving is that it allows you to meet people you wouldn’t normally meet, see animals in their natural habitat as you normally wouldn’t see them, and visit places that you normally wouldn’t visit.”
