Shark Ecology
Many humans fear sharks, but is that reputation deserved? This program will teach you about the unique anatomy and senses of sharks, as well as their mating behaviors and life cycle. We will discuss the evolution of sharks and why they are very ecologically important in the ocean. During this course, we will also review the behaviors a diver should be aware of while observing sharks in the wild and how to safely interact with them in their natural habitat. There are no dives required to complete this course.
This course will consist of one academic learning session with your choice of either in-person or virtual classroom options.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
- The last chance to sign up for all courses is 72 hours before the first day of class.
- For cancellations 48 hours before the first day of class: The online learning academics cannot be refunded, those are yours to keep. However, we can refund the rest of the course to you as store credit.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 48 hours before the first day of class or once the class has already started.
- There will be a $100 surcharge to reschedule per day.
